  「蒲江米花糖」“Pujiang Mihuatang”: A traditional specialty from Pujiang County in Sichuan Province, this is a sweet, crispy snack made by binding puffed rice candy with sugar. It is characterized by its roasted aroma, sweetness, and light texture. It is popular as both a snack and a souvenir.

 I uploaded these photos, which were taken on April 5. The cherry blossoms are already gone now, though.

This is a souvenir from Xinjiang. It is a traditional Chinese snack called Hongzao Jia Hetao, made with walnut kernels sandwiched between dried jujubes, or red dates. It is nutritious and popular as a healthy snack.
