 This is a souvenir from China. It is a gift box of Daqiaodao (大橋道), a traditional confectionery brand and a well-known specialty of Tianjin.　As one of Tianjin’s local specialties, its traditional production techniques have been recognized as part of the intangible cultural heritage.

Founded in 1926, San Min Zhai is a historic time-honored brand and has been recognized as part of Chongqing’s Intangible Cultural Heritage. This sweet-flavored delicacy comes in a 300 g package.

On January 26, 2026, Professor Shimura gave a lecture to students from Taipei Tech (National Taipei University of Technology) who visited Japan under the Sakura Science Program.
